Fort Bhangarh, India

By Shahnawaz Sid

Fort Bhangarh is located in the Indian state of Rajasthan and is a 17th century ruin. Hindus are afraid of this place because ghosts are believed to live in the old fortress.

The country’s authorities officially declared the ruined city to be a haunted residence and introduced strict rules governing visits to these ruins.

Tourists are prohibited from entering the fort at night (from dusk to dawn), and residents of neighboring settlements said that no person who violated this rule has returned from Fort.
